Last week I shot Kirstin’s 8.5 month maternity portrait session at Laguna Gloria, a GREAT place for a wedding in Austin. This venue has a little of everything and is also great for bridal sessions. The grounds are beautiful with lots of shade and greenery and the inside is classic and vintage. I already post my favorite photo from the session here. Kirstin is now 1cm dialated so the waiting begins, Emma should be arriving shortly and then I can call myself a God-mother!
I realize I have been posting A LOT of engagement session lately…. because I have been doing A LOT!! The weather has been too perfect for me not to!
Caitlin and Michael’s wedding is just around the corner (in only 2 weeks!), so I had to get these out fast! One of my fellow study abroad Italy trip goers (I hope that made sense) will be one of the groomsmen at this wedding- but of course we didn’t find this out until I added Caitlin on facebook, what a small world we live in. We mainly shot around the Austin Capitol and the alley ways south of it, every time I go down those streets I find new cool places to shoot that I haven’t seen before, can’t beat that. I love Austin!

Yup, you heard right. In less than 2 weeks I will be the proud God-mother of baby Emma. Kirstin is my God-sister (I know that’s a term NO ONE seems to use but us) but she is practically my sister and I have known her since I was a baby myself…. so I am incredibly excited that her and David have chosen me to be a part of her life… FOREVER! I was really excited about this particular picture so I had to post it TONIGHT!! As you can see… I’m quite excited in general. :) More to come later on of course!

Kayla grew up on a farm and Brien is from as north as you can get in US, Maine. They are both intelligent and goofy, which I think makes an awesome mix.
We started at my studio meeting space off South Lamar then head down to South Congress to get some cool street shots and some downtown views. Enjoy the multi-location and multi-style shots, I had a blasty blast.

Tenley, Dustin, and I had a great session starting at Butler Park last week, the weather was perfect and the skies were blue. They also wanted to get some photos taken where they would be getting married next June, The Star Hill Ranch. We got some great potential ’save the date’ cards, which they will be using as magnets (my favorite form of ’save the dates’). Great session, great couple = winning combo.
Any who, if you’re sitting inside today staring at a computer screen like I am (but won’t be for much longer)…. you shouldn’t! It’s such a beautiful day outside!

Believe it or not this was my first time to Barton Springs, I was totally missing out!!
Jen & Leo were adorable and it was their idea to jump in the water by the way. I particularly enjoy the photo with the man in the speedo walking by. They’re getting married on HALLOWEEN… all caps was necessary, because it’s my favorite holiday :) I can’t wait to see all the guests dressed up!
As some may have noticed I have started processing my photos a little differently, I have been playing with Totally Rad Actions. So far so good. I won’t be doing them to every single photo but maybe just my faves of the batch.
