Austin Wedding Photography Slideshow: Jason & Sarah

I finally got to photograph Sarah & Jason’s wedding this past Saturday in Austin at Covenant Presbyterian Church! Sarah & Jason Slayden are two of the most amazingly, smart, talented, and sweet people I have ever met. I throughly enjoyed being half photographer/ half bridesmaid. I would not have been able to sit still had there been another photographer, it just had to be me :)    I have known Sarah since high school, we both sang in choir together, we became good friends our senior year and decided to move in together to the dorms at Texas State. I remember how excited we were to be bunking together and how nervous we were about starting our college classes. We didn’t live together long since sharing a tiny bedroom with one person isn’t conducive for keeping friendships (go figure) but it didn’t take long for us to be close again. She has ALWAYS been there for me, always…. and I remember the first time I met Jason, he just as goofy as she. He is an equally talented singer and there is no doubt in my mind that they will be doing wonderful things and despite being as far away as Cincinnati right now, they are life long friends.

I get pretty emotional when I start thinking about the wedding all over again- I have gotten used to the really emotional weddings, I hardly ever cry at them anymore, but I cried at the rehearsal dinner and during the ceremony. I couldn’t help it, the music was amazing and I know how much they really love each other. During the ceremony Sarah & Jason’s voice teacher from Texas State, Julie Wood, sang something beautiful- I couldn’t tell you what it was but anything that comes our of her mouth is beautiful. Because there were so many talented singers in attendance the church was filled with the most amazing sounding hymnals I have ever heard. During the reception Zach and Will (two of the groomsmen) sang some of my favorite classics like “The way you look tonight”. There’s nothing like hearing an amazing tenor voice in person, *sigh* it gives me butterflies ;)     Sarah’s cousin, Tiffany, painted an AMAZING portrait of Sarah & Jason based on of the engagement photos I took. Last but not least, one more major props to Esther! The best wedding coordinator, planner, everything, & bridesmaid a girl could find.

Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Slayden!!!!

Kayla Molnes - I love just listening to the vows. That makes the entire slideshow just even more wonderful. To hear his voice crack makes your eyes just water right up because without the pictures, just by that small bit of sound you can tell and see the love they have for one another, but of course the pictures are fantastic!! You can’t live without these pictures! Wonderful as always!!!

Sarah and Jason - Wow, Caroline. Nothing we can think of to write will explain how much we love the beauty and creativity of these pictures and how unique they are to you and to us. They are absolutely incredible, and you are the only photographer we could ever have been happy with to shoot the wedding!
