I am one lucky girl. Today was one of those rare Saturdays that I didn’t have a wedding planned…. I recieved a call around 11am this Saturday morning asking me to shoot at Austin’s wedding venue, Villa Antonia, for Mr. Ron Parks wedding photography- at first I wasn’t sure I wanted in until I found out it was for one of my favorite bands, Blue October’s, guitarist!! I, of course, could not turn the opportunity down. I am soooo glad that Ron invited me along (huge huge huge thank you for inviting me, did I mention that he’s also a really nice guy?), I also got to shoot with the recent newly wed Amy who I was anxious to shoot with anyway. Ben was a little jealous of the situation since he was already scheduled to 2nd shoot another wedding, so he showed up about 20 minutes before their departure. I tried not to act like a giddy school girl in front of the guys but on the inside I was really excited. I had a blast shooting the fun crowd. The live music by Taxi & Danny was awesome, not to mention I like them even more because they played my song… you know… ‘Sweet Caorline’ by Neil Diamond. ;)
CB & Betsy Hudson were super sweet and the wedding was gorgeous! I wasn’t planning on making a slideshow but I simply just could not narrow the images down to 20 or so… Is it really cheesy that I wanted to use a Blue October song to go to the slideshow pictures? Oh well, I did anyway.
I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos by Amy, Ron, and Julie.

Bride + Blue October

I love cute flower girls!!
My favorite picture of Mr. Justin Furstenfeld himself. :)
We had to take them away from the party for a little bit to get these more intimate portraits.

And of course, CB sang to Betsy, soooo sweet!
They knew the whole dance to “all the single ladies”, again, awesome.

Sincerely,
your friendly fine art Austin wedding photographer- Sweet Caroline Photo
