This one is an old one but a good one- these photos are my favorites from a wedding I 2nd shot with Ben Godkin back in November at House on the Hill in west Austin. I haven’t had many weddings the last month or so but starting tomorrow, wedding season begins! Expect new weddings every week on my blog for the next 6 months!

very awesome, very chill band: Austin Family Jewels

I’m still feeling under the weather but I really wanted to get this blog post up from Andrea & Chris’ e-session that I shot last week. An awesome couple that loves food and LOST just as much as I do, what can I say, my clients ARE awesome.

I write from my laptop on my couch because I have gotten the flu. I’ve never had the flu but I have to admit I was expecting it to be worse than this, hopefully I should be better by the weekend. Luckily my next wedding isn’t until the 20th, which is great timing to get sick because after that I won’t have a weekend off until June!
Just over a week ago I shot Cacey & Jason’s engagements around Progress Cafe, you may (but probably won’t) recognize Jason from Loren & Derek’s Austin wedding from August. I love getting to shoot the bridesmaids and groomsmen’s weddings from former weddings! It’s as good of a ‘repeat client’ as a wedding photographer can get :) This is probably the coldest engagement session I have ever done! Not refering to the couple of course!! .. but seriously, it was cold. Despite my frozen hands we produced some great pictures and to keep warm I made sure that they got to hug and kiss plenty :)
Enjoy!
