I have good news. Better than good news. Awesome news.
I got eighth place in WPJA’s (wedding photojournalist association) 2010 Quarter 1 silhouettes, shadows, and good light category. WPJA is (I think) the most legit of all wedding photography associations. There is an approval process to get in and the contests are judged by some of the best photojournalists, EVER. Thousands of photos are submitted from across the world for the contests they hold every quarter. and I got 8th. I’m very happy about this.
