What are engagement sessions good for?
Everything! They are wonderful, they give me a chance to know y’all as a couple a little better and capture your love for one another in a relaxed setting without the chaos of getting married on the same day. We can shoot downtown, in a forest, on a rooftop, where ever y’all are down for. I’m there to capture the sweetness of your relationship in any environment you enjoy. They are great for guestbooks, save the dates, and to show off at the wedding on a nice 16×20 canvas.
Where are some good places to shoot?
…. Where do y’all enjoy hanging out? I love finding unique locations to shoot my engagement sessions, I can list of a few places I’ve been to many times but I’m also interested in your ideas. :)
How long does the session last?
1.5 to 2 hours usually, I won’t be done until I feel like I’ve gotten all the images I think I should get from a session.
What should I wear?
Nice jeans and a button up shirt with maybe a casual sports coat for him. For her, a casual dress or nice jeans with a nice shirt. Try not to wear white or anything with too much pattern, make it simple. Make sure your shoes are comfy to sit, stand, run, and jump around in. Funky accessories are always fun to work with, like any unique necklaces or hats you might have. Try to color coordinate with each other, but don’t match too much. If you’d like to bring 2 outfits along that’s fine, we just need to make sure that there is a place for y’all to change.
