I am a wedding photographer living and working in Austin, Texas. Originally from Houston, I received my degree in Digital and Photographic Imaging from Texas State University. I became a photographer the first moment I picked up a camera. I began in high school with a Canon AE-1 taking pictures of friends, and developing film "old school" in the darkroom during my lunch break. My wonderful photography teacher, Mrs. Crocker, ensured that my love for the craft continued into college, where I spent four years shooting film and becoming intimate with chemistry. Weddings are my favorite to shoot - capturing the people, the celebrations, their love; making a living from this passion is my passion.

Loren + Jarad | Bling Bling

I’m not exactly sure why I thought of ‘bling bling’ as the title for Loren & Jarad’s wedding, maybe because there were giant engagement rings over the napkins on the dinner tables, maybe because we told Loren to be gangster during the portraits, either way, I like it. A 400 person wedding is a lot to handle but Loren & Jarad are just really popular people, what can they say? I think we should go out for drinks some time.

Tenley+Dustin | A Wedding @ Starhill Ranch

Kathleen + Ryan | The Wedding

As Kathleen described in the last e-mail. FAB. Just down right awesome in every way. Every detail was so well plained and so gorgeous (notice the 3 amazing dresses Kathleen wore during the night), Ryan claimed to have planned it all but I’m pretty sure he’s lying :)  Did I mention they were super fun too? Leigh Ann & Mike | The Wedding

I’m so happy to see that these two have officially tied the knot. They’re just one of those couples that you can’t just help but smile when you’re around them. As some may have read on their engagement session post, Mike is a friend of mine from Texas State, and it makes me so happy and nostalgic to see him ‘all grown up’ and having a gorgeous wedding *tear*. You guys are amazing.
